H and i were talking over lunch one weekend and the topic of either one of us dying was brought up. i started tearing up at the mere thought of not having him in my life, such a crybaby man. and he said one of the most sweetest things i think anyone has ever said to me.

and if u know H like i do, he’s not the romantic sort at all. so when he said that if i were to die, he probably would take 2 months away from work and travel to all the way to scatter my ashes under the northern lights. that really meant alot to me. and to go see the northern lights was one of the few the place we said that we’d visit one day when we first met each other.

sigh,lucky me.

Despite diametrically opposing viewpoints from various people on how to eat a fish, keep my room clean and live my life, there are days like this where I find myself truly grateful to my mother who has instilled in me such a genuine passion for books and making me conclude that a small measure of a good home is a library that spans an entire wall.

on a side note, come the 29 Jan 2012, we’ll know whether we have got a spot to be neighbours with coney island.

christmas is a season not a festival!!!!

as i’m typing this, my wordpress background picture has little animated snowflakes that are falling and piling up in a pool. my favourite season is here and nothing’s gonna dampen my mood ((:

so many things to be thankful for this season and we’re gonna celebrate, we being me and H by going to church and just being grateful. So even though work can be punitive slavery, i’m just gonna smile and greet each december day with a whole lotta sunshine.

christmas is pretty big in my family and i’m glad that it is. we have turkey and the ham and roast beef. the works!!! there’s just something about Christmas that brings everyone together. so dear december please don’t pass by in a flash.

When you’re having fun, time flies and when you’re suffering, every tick-tock becomes audible and deathly slow. To put it bluntly, time is proportionate to mood.
